DiskWright is a product of BLUEBIRD TECHNOLOGIES PTY LTD.

DiskWright scans files and compares duplicate content locally. File paths and scan contents are not uploaded by the app. Scan indexes, comparisons and cleanup history are stored in your local Application Support folder.

License and purchases

The app verifies signed license keys and device-bound activation leases. Activation and periodic renewal send your license and a randomly generated installation public key to our licensing service; they do not send filenames, scan contents or hardware serial numbers. A lease permits up to 14 days offline. Deactivation or a refund can take until an existing offline lease expires to affect a disconnected Mac. Buying a license uses Stripe Managed Payments. Order details and your purchase email are processed to issue and deliver your license. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider.

Diagnostics

Optional local diagnostic logs may include file paths. Review them before sharing with support. There is no automatic analytics upload in the app.

Your control

You can remove saved scans and comparisons in the app. Deleting a comparison does not delete your files. DiskWright moves only reviewed items to Trash and never empties Trash automatically.

Website

The interactive demonstration uses fictional data. Optional Google Analytics measures website visits, downloads and checkout starts only after you choose Allow analytics. It uses cookies and processes usage, browser and device information, and approximate location. Advertising personalization is disabled. Receipt pages never load Analytics; we do not send license keys, email addresses, payment details or scanned files to Analytics. Choose No thanks to browse without Analytics, or use Analytics preferences in the footer to change your choice. Your choice is saved for up to 180 days. Withdrawing consent stops future collection; previously collected records may remain with Google. Hosting and payment services may retain operational request records needed to operate and secure the service.

Optional email updates

If you subscribe, we store your email address, consent time and policy version, confirmation status, and the referral source or campaign supplied with your signup. We use Resend to send an address-confirmation email. Only confirmed subscribers are eligible for product news and tips. Signing up is optional and does not affect your download. Each update will include an unsubscribe link; you can also contact us to unsubscribe or request deletion. We do not send your email address to Google Analytics or sell the subscriber list. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours; unconfirmed signup records are eligible for removal after 30 days. We retain subscription records while needed to manage your choice and honor unsubscribe requests.
